The development team called it a "fighting RPG".[1] Guardian Heroes was developed by Treasure and released in 1996 for the Sega Saturn video game console. A sequel was released in 2004 for the Game Boy Advance entitled Advance Guardian Heroes.\par \par The game allows players to alter the storyline through their actions, such as choosing between a number of branching paths, leading to multiple endings, and killing civilians and enemies, leading to changes in the Karma meter.[2][3] The music was composed by Hideki Matsutake, a former member of electronic music band Yellow Magic Orchestra, and Nazo Suzuki.[4] It is sometimes considered a cult classic of the beat 'em up genre.[5]\par \par \par \b\f3 Tracklist\par \b0\f2\par \f0 01 From Me to You\par 02 Guardian Heroes\par 03 Open Your Heart\par 04 Fighters of Pain\par 05 Escape From XX\par 06 Shuffler in the Dark\par 07 Indy\par 08 Jazzy Sabotage\par 09 The Plot\par 10 Brave Parade\par 11 It's Alive\par 12 The Sword\par 13 Rough and Ready\par 14 Methods\par 15 Roundabout\par 16 Pointer Bros & Sis\par 17 Complex Soldiers\par 18 Trap\par 19 Heroes' Theme\par 20 Toki Meki Saxophone\par 21 Notorious Don\par 22 Borelo Finale\par 23 I'm Not Alone\par 24 A Happy New World\par 25 Dear Amadeus\par 26 From Me to You (Karaoke)\par 27 Guardian Heroes (Karaoke)\par \f2\par }
